Where Have All the Leaders Gone?

In just a few short years, many of the dictators of the world have ended up in execution, or being killed by an angry mob. Muammar Qaddaffi being the latest victim in this string of world leaders to have his day before those he ruled.  The images of Qaddaffi in the hands of the rebels is not a pleasant sight to watch, being wounded when taken into custody, and eventually being shot in head is a tragic end even for a dictator.  This is a reminder that if you live by the sword you will die by the sword, and Qaddaffi was a brutal dictator who abused his power as ruler of his country. 

People have asked what this Arab Spring is all about, a term given to the uprising of the people against the dictators in several of the Middle Eastern countries. Political unrest will continue in the Middle East because the end product of all of this uprising will conclude with the annihilation of the  nation of Israel. Many of the dictators that have been deposed over the last year, kept peace in that region.  They did not want to ruin a good thing going for themselves or their families. With the advent of power shifting in many of these countries, the opportunity for the a Muslim governance becomes more of a reality. The Muslim Brotherhood is a strong political association working in many countries of the Middle East trying to gain power among the people to seize power.  Their objective is to set up a Muslim system of rule that will ultimately press for a state for the Palestinians, and eliminate the state of Israel.  It appears at first that as the people persist to overthrow these dictators that democracy will have a chance to operate, but that will not be the case.  The Muslim Brotherhood will promise a better life for the people and when in power they will subject everyone to Sharia law, which is govern by the Quaran.  This Middle Eastern turmoil is another sign of the last days.  As the Muslim Brotherhood continues to strengthen their representation in these countries, the United Nations will begin to feel the power of their influence which will work against Israel in any negotiations with the Palestinians. 

You are witnessing the events of the last days.  My concern is for the Church, are we able to discern these events and translate what they mean to us in light of Biblical prophecy.  Why are all these dictators in the Middle East all oif a sudden all coming under attack and be deposed?  For me, it's quite simple.  The world stage is being set for the one world government, the one world economic system, and the battle for Israel and Jerusalem, all of which will preceed the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We are living in the most exciting times, because we are closer to His coming to rule and reign from Jerusalem.

There is no reason to fear what is happening, it is all be orchestrated by God, in accordance to His Word. He is still in charge, and the world events are happening as predicted so that Jesus could return. 

Friend don't be silent about what is happening on the world front, let people know what the scriptures teach about the last days, and how to prepare for the return of the Messiah/Savior. It is a day to prepare by asking God's forgiveness for your sins, and the strength to turn away from those sins and to live your life for Christ. Read the scriptures everyday, get a word of comfort and assurance of His promises to us as believers, and get a word of prophecy, so you are ready for what the Bible says will happen prior to His return.

It is a day of preparation.
