One Thing

The one thing I try to write about on this blog is to confront issues that are both spiritual and cultural, because I find dishonestly in both. The culture isn't all bad, nor is the church, and there are wonderful things happening in both, but there is a tendancy to be dishonest about issues they ignore.

The one thing that is critical in relationship building is honesty and trust.  Without these two important elements it is impossible to evaluate and build a relationship to truth.  If you lose trust in an institution, or you feel there has been dishonesty in a relationship, it's hard to continue in any form of contact.

The one thing I attempt to do is to look at the source of truth, the scriptures, and evaluate both the culture and the church in light of what the Bible teaches. Some may say that is a fairly narrow way of looking at life, yet, the Bible has never been wrong in both it's advice on how to live, nor it's predictions of prophecy.  To me, the track record of the Bible is solid, and gives us the best source to evaluate ourselves, our culture and our practice of faith.

The one thing I focus my writing on is leadership.  Leadership is the pivotal ingredient for insight and motivation both in culture and in the church.  Leadership must have a philosophical foundation in order to lead, and the direction the leader takes you is either write or wrong, depending on their world view of life. Leadership that does not have a godly, Biblical base to it, is leadership going nowhere. If the leadership journey doesn't end up with God, you have just lead people to an eternity of hell. To me, that kind of leadership has little to no value. There are some in the church that proclaim godly leadership, but are deceptive and misleading in their understanding of God.  They have a form of godliness but deny the power of God which is in Jesus Christ. I try to evaluate these deceptive, and dishonest leaders on this site.

One thing I want you to know, I care about your spiritual future, and I care about how you are living your life. God's time table for bringing this world to an end is underway.  We see the signs in the world around us, and these signs were predicted throughout the scriptures, and they are all coming to pass. That is why this blog exists to evaluate, to warn, and to ultimately encourage you to read the scriptures and place your faith in Jesus Christ.  He is the only source of truth that can be trusted.

The one things are important to me, so I thought I would share them with you today.

Lastly, the one thing I always want you to know, that I am trying to keep it honest and truthful...K
