By Design
Someone asked me to list the three top spiritual priorities in a believers life. Wow, now that is a tough request. How can you squeeze all the things that are important for a balanced Christian life into three categories?
Okay, I'll try.
1. Faith in the Person of Jesus Christ for salvation
2. Actively embracing the Holy Spirit and the Word of God
3. Biblical support for Israel and the return of Jesus Christ
Okay I cheated a tad with two points answers, but I told you I would try! However, I do think these three points are critical for a Biblical world view. You must have the right starting point, and that is faith in no other name than in Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:12) You then have to be schooled through a disciplined understanding of Gods Word, actively taught by the Holy Spirit writing God's laws on your heart. (Jeremiah 31:33) And lastly, you need to have a proper understanding of Israel, as the future home of a returning King of Kings.
Some would say Israel is not that important, but I would disagree. Genesis 12:3 is an eternal promise, and if we bless His covenant people, God will bless us. That's His promise, and He will act upon that truth. You can not ignore God's design and expect to have positive results. If you ignore the family or try to re-engineer it, it will fail all of society. If you ignore God's word or law about moral lifestyle, immorality will destroy you. If you ignore God's covenant relationship with Israel, you violate Genesis 12:3 and you will be cursed, not blessed.
As you may have read in previous blog posts, Israel is the key to the future of this world, according to scripture, the Jews will play an important role in the return of Jesus Christ to this earth. God's word describes a world that is designed to conclude with Jesus ruling and reigning from Jerusalem, and all the signs that we see happening today are indications His plan is on course. By design, Israel will be the center of all future wars, and will be the focus of world wide tension. It is by design that all nations will rally againist Israel, and be destroyed by God as recorded in Zechariah 14. It is by design that a one world financial system and the world leader will focus on destroying anything that will oppose its rule. It's all by His design, outlined in His word for you and i to make ourselves ready both in Spirit and in Truth.
The question that is most obvious today, are you ready? Are we ready for the design of the last days, orchestrated by evil, but controlled by God. It's time to get back to the blueprint of this design found in His Word. Are you ready to change some things in your life to get on board where God is leading His Church?
