A Brand New Year
So what new resolutions have you made? ME? None. I can't seem to keep any of them anyway, in fact 76% of us who make resolutions break them before February. Here is what I would like to do however as we start this new year. I want to be more aware this year on how God is working in our world. 2011 began a series of events that will continue to escalate this year, as we see the world struggling with financial crisis, weather calamities, and political shifts both in the Middle East and in the United States. I am convinced that God is setting up the stage for the last act to take place. I believe the Arab Spring in the Middle East is the beginning of what Ezekiel wrote about in chapters 38 and 39. There will come a day when Israel will be invaded and that will happen once the Arab nations set up a hatred for Israel that would support such an invasion. Israel will be blamed for the world monetary crisis, the wall street occupiers already have blamed the Jews on Wall Street as the main culprits behind the housing crisis, but it won't stop there. The Jews once again will be brought before the world as the manipulators of world governments, and the source of world tensions in the financial world. It will be no different than what Germany said about the Jews in World War 2. All of this is anti-Semitic attitude is being allowed by God for one purpose, to bring His people back to Himself. 80% of the Jews in the world are secular in their beliefs, and the other 20% have some kind of religious affiliation, most of which rejects the Jesus of Christianity as any resource of hope. Israel will stand alone, but God will be her protector, just as in the days of the Old Testament.
What concerns me is the shift of younger Christians who have not had the teaching or training about the Hebraic roots of Christianity and have no interest nor knowledge about the Jews and their key role in the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. This shift is toward the propaganda the Palestinians are presenting that they need half of Israel for their homeland, starting with dividing Jerusalem ito serve as their capital. Our Secretary of State refuses to allow the United States to call Jerusalem the capital of Israel because of the threat this would pose to any peace negotiations. This however is consistent with the plan the Devil is creating to bring the world down on Israel and the Jews.
So what should we do as Christians? First educate yourself in who Israel is in scripture, and be aware of the "forever promises" made only to Israel, because God will fulfill them. Get educated on the Hebraic Roots of the Bible and shifting our attitude as Christians to bless Israel by presenting her with her messiah Jesus Christ. Loving Israel, means to support Israel even in her blindness, so that God can bring them back into the vine. There are no other provisions to Genesis 12:3 other than blessing or cursing Israel, and our job is to bless Israel through prayer, and be a witness for the true messiah of Israel who has come once, and is coming again.
Genesis 12:33 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” |
Israel and the Jews play an increasing role the second coming of Christ, and as Christians our support lies with Israel above all costs. Notice what Jesus said to the Jews, that His return is predicated upon their acknowledgment of who He is.
Matthew 23:3939For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’” 2012, let's make this our year where we prepare for His return by praying for the salvation of His people the Jews. |
Keeping it honest and truthful....K
