For The Jews It Is All About Survival

The purpose of the Jewish state is to secure the Jewish future. That is why Israel must always have the ability to defend itself, against any threat.

                                                                                      -Benjamin Netanyahu

I wish Jew hatred and Israel hatred were just another bigotry, but it isn’t all Jew hatred is exterminationist hatred.

                                                                                       -Dennis Prager

No other ethnic people group on earth has had as many threats against them as the Jews. Jewish people are told by their enemies, “The only solution in the Middle East is to exterminate the Jews.” No Israel and no Jews.  We have been told that Anti-Semitism has been growing today.

The Anti-Defamation League logged a 57 percent rise in anti-Semitic incidents in the United States in 2017, compared to the previous year — including bomb threats, assaults, vandalism, and anti-Semitic posters and literature found on college campuses.

Britain’s Jewish community has spoken out against Labour leaders, and anti-Semitic incidents in Britain have soared to a near-record high in 2018.

"We are seeing British Jews increasingly talking about leaving and also seeing signs of people actually leaving, not just to Israel, but also to the United States and Canada -- and Australia is a destination as well," said Gideon Falter, chairman of the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism (CAA).

France’s 475,000 Jews represent less than 1 percent of the country’s population. Yet last year, according to the French Interior Ministry, 51 percent of all racist attacks targeted Jews. The statistics in other countries, including Great Britain, are similarly dismal. In 2014, Jews in Europe were murdered, raped, beaten, stalked, chased, harassed, spat on, and insulted for being Jewish. Sale Juif—“dirty Jew”—rang in the streets, as did “Death to the Jews,” and “Jews to the gas.”

2012: Toulouse, France

Four Jews were shot and killed at the Ozar Hatorah Jewish School outside Toulouse in southern France. The victims included Rabbi Yonatan Sandler, 30, and two of his children: Aryeh Sandler, 6, and Gabriel Sandler, 3. Miriam Monsonego, an 8-year-old student, also was killed.

2014: Brussels

Four people were shot and killed in an attack at the Jewish Museum of Belgium in Brussels.

January 2015: Paris

Days after the attack on the offices of French satirical newspaper, Charlie Hebdo, four Jews — François-Michel Saada, Philippe Braham, Yohan Cohen and Yoav Hattab — were killed in a siege at the Hyper Cacher, a kosher supermarket on the outskirts of Paris.

October 2016: Moscow

An armed man carrying a gas canister attempted to enter Moscow’s Choral Synagogue in the city center, a day before Rosh Hashanah services. All that is known about the attacker is that he was a 40-year-old man believed by synagogue officials to be an ethnic Russian.

April 2017: Paris

During the French presidential election, Sarah Halimi, 65, an Orthodox Jewish woman who lived alone in a Paris public housing project, was beaten to death and thrown out a window. Police identified her neighbor, Kobili Traore, a 27-year-old Malian Muslim, as the suspect, and neighbors interviewed by police said they heard him scream “Allahu Akbar” during the attack.

December 2017: Amsterdam

Hours after President Trump officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, a 29-year-old Palestinian man brandishing a Palestinian flag smashed the windows of the HaCarmel kosher restaurant in a Jewish district of Amsterdam

March 2018: Paris

In an episode that resembled the Sarah Halimi case, Mireille Knoll, 85, a Holocaust survivor who also lived in a Paris public housing project, was stabbed 11 times and left to burn in her apartment. Investigators identified her neighbor, Yacine Mihoub, 28, and an accomplice, Alex Carrimbacus, 21, as suspects. This time, authorities immediately included the dimension of anti-Semitism in the investigation.

April 2018: Berlin

Two men — ages 21 and 24, at least one wearing a skullcap — were assaulted in broad daylight by an attacker who whipped them with a belt in a gentrified Berlin district, Prenzlauer Berg. Three perpetrators appeared to have been involved, according to the victims’ accounts. One of the victims, Adam Armoush, later said that he was not in fact Jewish but had worn a skullcap to prove to a friend that doing so was not a risk in contemporary Germany. “I was saying it’s really safe, and I wanted to prove it, but it ended like that,” Armoush told German TV. The incident became a national scandal, and German leaders weighed in. Chancellor Angela Merkel called the attack “horrible,” and the foreign minister, referring to the country’s Nazi past, said, “Jews shall never again feel threatened here.”

The attack in Pittsburgh over the weekend is just another case of hatred for the Jews. There are many reasons why the Jews are hatred in our world, but the primary reason is because they prove the existence of God. Even though 80% of the Jewry in the world today has a secular worldview, the promises God made to Israel remain in tact. The restoration of Israel as a nation in 1948 is the most significant sign that God and the Jews are still under a divine contract (promise).

When Christians and secular people dismiss Israel as an unimportant element in world affairs, they are sorely mistaken. God promised Israel that the land and their presence in that land would be forever.

All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever                                                                                                                                       -Genesis 13:15

I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprootedfrom the land I have given them, says the Lord your God.                                            -Amos 9:15

God has Israel’s back, but the war against them will continue because of their connection with God, and His love for them. Evil/Satan hates the Jews, because it was through them the Messiah/Savior came and defeated him forever. It is out of this hatred that Satan seeks to destroy Israel and get his revenge with God.

13 When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.

15 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent.                                      –Revelation 12:13 and 15

I support Jews and their homeland Israel, and will continue to pray for the families in Pittsburgh who lost a loved one due to this hatred for the Jewish people.

Keeping it honest and truthful…K
