When Girls Become Boys

Mack Beggs, an 18-year-old senior from Euless Trinity High School near Dallas, entered the tournament in Cypress outside of Houston with an undefeated record. He beat Chelsea Sanchez — who he beat for the title in 2017. Beggs is in the process of transitioning from female to male and taking a low-dose of testosterone.

In most competitive sports, any kind of hormone altering substance is prohibited.

So how is it that this girl who is taking Testosterone to facilitate her change into a boy able to meet this requirement? The East German women were cited for taking growth hormones among other substances to get an edge over their competitors. Doping continued in Russia and the Russian team this year was banned from competing in this year’s Winter Olympics in South Korea.

So why is a girl allowed to take hormone shots and still able to compete?  She has an advantage that none of the other girls have, and it is simply because she is a transgender and in process of her transformation. It seems to me this is highly unfair to all the girls competing in the event.

The Minnesota Family Council has concerns about the fairness of Transgender participation in sports in Minnesota:

Transgender student athlete policies, however, permit biologically male students to participate on female teams. This gives them rights above and beyond other students, hurting the fairness in competition and safety for female teams.

Similarly, students use the bathroom, shower, and locker room facilities that correspond with their biological sex for privacy and safety reasons. Transgender policies permit students struggling with their gender identity to choose the facility opposite their biological sex. This gives them rights above every other student, and violates the privacy rights of everyone involved.

The Minnesota Family Council statement also addresses the fairness of males competing on female teams:

The MN Legislature specifically passed law stating that female teams can be restricted to only females for obvious reasons--in order to provide fair competition, to address issues of discrimination against female students, and for females' safety. Allowing biological males on female-only teams seems a step backwards in the push for rights for women, doesn't it?

Furthermore, pediatricians agree that in general, boys tend to be taller, heavier, and have more skeletal mass than girls by age 18. Most anyone who's been an athlete or coach will agree that it doesn't make sense for girls to have to compete against boys for spots on a team or playing time, or to have to compete against boys on an opposing team in an athletic competition. The idea certainly doesn't pass the fairness test, and the potential safety issues for girls should concern everyone.

Every state has their policies governing this topic, but it seems to me that we are creating our own discriminating practices by allowing people who are confused about their sexual orientation and want to compete on teams opposite their biological sex.

The Bible talks about one of the distinctive characteristics of the last days - confusion:

2 Timothy 3:13 Bad men and those who fool other people will grow worse and worse. They will fool other people, and other people will fool them.

We have confused the morality of sex, that now it has become perverted and confused.

Isaiah 45:16 "All of them are put to shame and confounded; the makers of idols go in confusion together."

When the heart is twisted and confused it looks inward to find meaning, and that creates disorder and evil practices.

James 3:16 "For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice."

God never confuses the issue: He made them male and female, mankind has said there are 63 other genders.

1 Corinthians 14:33 “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.”

So then we come to the agenda of getting all of us to accept and agree to the “transgender agenda,” however, the scripture is clear about this compromise:

Proverbs 25:26 If the godly give in to the wicked, it's like polluting a fountain or muddying a spring.

When we accept the transgender propaganda we then become confused and lose our perspective on what is right and wrong.

This is why I am so hard on preachers when they refuse to address the issues in our day. They become part of the problem in polluting a fountain and muddying a spring.

Our culture is so confused it has no direction and no substance. Yet, by our silence, we are all subject to becoming pawns. The time is now. We need to be strong in knowing what is right and what is wrong according to God’s Word, and don’t back away from our convictions.

Keeping it honest and truthful...K
