The Church and The Immigrant with Pastor Rolland Wells

Could this be something God is doing?

Immigration is one of the defining issues of our day. The migration of people around the world is at unprecedented numbers, in fact, we are now witnessing the highest levels of the movement of people on record. So why are people on the move in such numbers all over the world?  Could this be something God is doing; moving people away from their home of origin and allowing them to come in contact with people of Faith? In this episode, Larry explores this issue with Pastor Roland Wells who has been a pastor for more than forty years. Twenty-five years ago, he founded a training ministry called MissionShift that helps to define how we go about developing cross-cultural ministries.

Is it just a meet and greet in a building?

‘Thinking Out Loud’ on The Unchurched

In this ‘Thinking Out Loud’ episode, Walt McFadden discusses that people who don’t go to Church are the Unchurched. Ministry Leaders had a goal to get the Unchurched to go to Church, however, the end results were failure. We went from old-style music to new-style music, from sermons to short statements, and took out Worship and the Word. We just wanted to make the Unchurched feel comfortable. We just wanted to give the Unchurched the message is about being a better you and a self-help message. Nothing wrong with these messages, but if Christ is not the center of the Church, then all you really have is a meet and greet in a building. Pastor Walt helps us to understand the differences in the way ministry was conducted in the past, and how ministry is conducted today … to the detriment of the Church.

Are only Leaders Anointed? Don’t we all have God’s Anointing?

In this episode, The Truth Barista talks about the accountability of Leaders who say they are the Lord’s Anointed, and they are not to be touched. Are only Leaders Anointed? Don’t we all have God’s Anointing? Leaders who say they are not to be touched use this as an excuse for them to not be accountable. Some Leaders have taken instruction from God and turned it into a formula and techniques manipulated by the Leader. We are to test everything to see if it’s of God, including the Supernatural Accountability of Church Leaders. The Truth Barista helps us understand and discern Supernatural Accountability.

What is Leadership?

All Christians should have a Leadership role.

In this episode, Jim Hansen talks with two pastors who share their thoughts on what Leadership means to them. They discuss that all Christians should have a leadership role, whether it’s in their family, at their job, or in their neighborhood. Christ calls this Servant Leadership, which means we need to serve our neighborhood, our employees, our employers, all those within our reach. We need to serve others in order to become Leaders and influence how others respond to Christ.

Replacement Theology with Jay Christianson

Is God is done with the Jews?

One of the most insidious theologies in the Church today is known as ‘Replacement Theology.’ It is the idea that the Church has replaced Israel as God’s Chosen People, and that God is done with the Jews. This is a pervasive view of many Churches today, and it is a heretic view of Israel and the Jews. In this episode, Larry talks with Pastor Jay Christianson, from Issachar Congregation in Minneapolis, about this view. They also highlight Bridges for Peace, an International Ministry that has materials to help Christians understand how they should Honor Israel through Relationship.

My concern focuses on how opinions on the Bible have become more important in influencing people, than the Bible Itself. My concern is that we are losing our ability to study the Bible and look at Passages of Scripture objectively. There has been a slow movement away from good, exegetical review on Scripture, and many people today don’t believe in things like Hell, Judgment, and the Old Testament. This should be a concern for all of us in the Church. The Cross with Larry Kutzler

The Church is getting further and further away from The Cross and Its Message.

The Messaging of the Church has somewhat changed over my lifetime. In my early years of Following Jesus, the Message was about Discipleship and the Surrendering of the Will to God. It then started taking on the ideas that God wants us to live in Prosperity, then where authority was the key to living out a Christian life, and eventually changed into where we live out our lives in good behavior with the right kind of thinking. Yet, in each emphasis the Church goes through, it gets further away from The Cross and the Foundation of the Church. In this episode, I look at The Cross and how we are gutting the Message of the Gospel by replacing it with the relevance of our modern preaching.

The Tough Questions with Shawn Morrison

Five tough questions that we hardly ever hear preached in the Church today.

Church Leaders steer the ship, drive the emphasis, and make or break the important things we should know about God. We are seeing Christian Leaders in general shift their emphasis from expounding on God’s Word to a philosophical emphasis on being fulfilled as a person. The problem with that thinking is simple … it’s not Biblical. As Christians, our Leader gave it all to fulfill His Coming from Heaven, and so what will it take for you to fulfill your Calling from Jesus? Joining me in this episode is Pastor Shawn Morrison, who poses five tough questions that we hardly ever hear preached in the Church today.

Democratic Socialism is the Buzz Word today.

‘Thinking Out Loud’ on Socialism

In this ‘Thinking Out Loud’ episode, Walt McFadden provides us with an in-depth history lesson on socialism and communism and helps us understand that the prelude for both systems were brutal, oppressive governments. Socialism in our culture is very different than the socialism described in the Bible. Our worldview is formed more by our political leanings than the Bible’s worldview. He discusses that socialism has to get rid of God at some time, because in order to function, the System needs to have its subjects’ loyalty … not the Christian’s loyalty of first to God and second to government.

Ministering to Those Who Minister with Chasz Parker

Ministers, their calling, and the issues they face.

I have spent the majority of my life as a clergy person. The reason I chose this profession was because I was interested in helping broken people come to know the Lord. There isn’t a greater satisfaction in life then to know you had a part in helping someone find Salvation in Jesus Christ. Yet in the process of learning and growing in being a minister, there are many speed bumps that can distract, mislead, and upend a person’s clergy experience. Many people think that because you are in the ministry your life is more fulfilling than most, and to some degree that can be true. In this episode, I talk about ministers, their calling, and the issues they face. Most people may not be aware of the dangers of being called to minister. My guest is Chasz Parker, the General Overseer of International Ministerial Fellowship, is a pastor of pastors who has had a wealth of experience in ministering to those in the ministry.

Do we really consider Evangelism important enough to inspire others to investigate the Good News of Jesus Christ?

Evangelism should never be just a past time for the Church; it should be the main reason we exist as the Church. One of the most important roles we have as the Church is to go and tell everyone about the Good News of Jesus Christ. Most Churches will touch on the importance of Evangelism, and even some will adopt programs and methods of how to do it. However, the Church is not the best at Evangelism as is could be. The New Holocaust of the 21st Century with Larry Kutzler

This practice is barbaric and immoral.

Several States have passed legislation that gives the right to women and their doctors to end the life of the baby even up to the time of birth. This practice is barbaric and as immoral as those mentioned in Scripture where parents sacrificed their children to pagan gods. This is a type of a New Holocaust of the 21st Century. If this practice doesn’t outrage the moral fiber of every American, then we as a society have passed the line of no return to any moral standards.
