From the Desk of Larry Kutzler

I would like to personally thank all of you who have read my blogs and listened to my podcasts over the years. I realize my writing is not typical of what you read today in Christian circles. I look seriously at what Scripture teaches and then compare it to the Christian culture of our day. The Scriptures tell us that the main reason we read Scripture is to find out what is true, and it helps us to do course correction in how we live our lives for Him.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

I attempt to expose the cultural Jesus and to focus on the Biblical Jesus. I try to bring clarity to two different strains of thought about Jesus:

· A cultural Jesus that is based upon trends, personal revelation, and denominational emphasis.

· A Biblical Jesus that came to fulfill the promises God made to Israel, including establishing the New Covenant.

Over the past two years I have personally funded the expenses for the website and blogs and have made some sacrifices in doing so. Due to COVID-19, my recording and editing ministry has been drastically cut, and now almost half of my monthly income goes to support the website and blogs. I am fortunate to have great people to work with, but everything costs money to produce.

If you have been blessed by what you have read or heard on the CitySites Podcasts or have been challenged by what you have read in the blogs, please consider supporting this ministry with a monthly gift. Your monthly gift, no matter how big or how small, will make a difference and will help ensure this ministry continues.

Thank you for being a part of this ministry, and Challenging the Culture with Truth will continue and endure.
