I watched a segment of CBS 60 Minutes, where the invasion of immigrants on the Southern border was highlighted. What surprised me, was that many of the legal immigrants were from China. When they interviewed those from China who were walking across the border, why they were coming, their response, was ‘freedom.’
There has been some debate about the use of the word invasion, with some people saying it is the wrong word used to describe the Southern border. They say an invasion definition according to historical documents, is an armed group or nation coming against the United States. However, defining the illegals coming across the border is an unmanageable crisis that is being heaped upon all Americans. US Immigration policies manage the amount of people coming into our country, to ensure that there are systems set up to deal with any flux of immigration. I have been told that America has a legal limit of one million immigrants per year who are allowed to immigrate, and they are processed to know who they are, where they come from, and why are they coming to America.
Why the American government is slow to stop the flow of legal immigration on the Southern border is a mystery to me. Some have said it is because these new immigrants will be used by the Democratic party in time to vote for Democratic issues that will pertain to them specifically, but the greater value is to give the party an overwhelming edge over voters. There may be some truth to that, but I don't think it is the whole story.
Could there be a more prophetic reason for these immigrants to be coming? We all know according to the Scriptures, that all nations will be affected to join the One World Government of the Antichrist. National sovereignty and independence will not be tolerated, and all allegiance must be given to the new world dictator. American values of democracy will be undermined by a new world order, and America will be so compromised that patriotism will no longer be a deterrent against this new world government. Could this new illegal immigrant invasion be a process of making America ready for the end-time government?
The principles of denying the Lord is universal:
Deuteronomy 28:43-45 Foreigners who live in your land will gain more and more power, while you gradually lose yours. They will have money to lend you, but you will have none to lend them. In the end, they will be your rulers. All these disasters will come on you, and they will be with you until you are destroyed because you did not obey the Lord your God and keep all the laws that He gave you.
I realize we are not a covenant partner like Israel was with God, yet, when you dilute your land with idols, false gods, and religions, it has to affect your Judeo-Christian values that were instilled into the American Republic when it was instituted.
Some Christians argue that we need to be open to whoever comes across our borders and cite this:
Leviticus 19:33-34 When a stranger sojourn with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
My argument isn’t against those who come as legal immigrants, my concern is about an unknown entity of people whom you don’t know coming into the country without permission and without being vetted. Wisdom should always precede your altruistic views.
In the past, immigrants were coming to America to start a new life. Their opportunities were greater to get ahead and were far greater than the countries they were coming from, and they were willing to adopt the idea of now being an American. My mother who immigrated here from England, went so far as to lose her English accent to fit in with her new American neighbors. She was English by birth, but she wanted to be known as an American by choice. That attitude is no longer practiced among the new immigration crowd. Many immigrants don’t care about this country, its policies, politics, or pride … they only care about what America can provide for them.
I realize how judgmental that sounds, yet many American cities are feeling the effects of immigration fatigue. Governor Abbott of Texas has been shipping thousands of illegal immigrants to northern cities like Chicago, New York, and other major cities because Texas is fatigued in handling all the care and expense of too many people coming across the border. An example of this fatigue is in Dearborn, Michigan. The city now is ramping up its police presence in response to fallout from an opinion piece that described the city, which has the nation's highest Muslim population per capita, as ‘America's jihad capital.’

Let’s be honest. Immigration laws were set up to protect America from the kinds of people who would commit harm on American soil. Today, the government does not care about you because they are not willing to stop illegal entry into our country. According to 60 Minutes, the Chinese who are crossing the border and who do not get refugee status must be deported back to China. The problem? The Chinese government will not take them back. So, what happens to these Chinese illegals? They are released into the population.
Unmanageable immigration policies? You bet. Government officials talk about it all the time, and the problem remains with no agreement on what to do. To me, it is quite simple. If you have a broken water pipe, you shut down the valve that controls the water flow through that pipe. There is no debate, no analysis … it is just common sense. If the valve is not shut down, more water pours out … it is that simple. Is it that simple for immigration? Yes. Stop the illegals from coming across the border … it’s the equivalency of shutting off the water valve.
My question to our government officials is, “Is there any other country where you can walk across their borders and not be detained and returned?” So, why is America so anesthetized? What is the cause behind our inability to manage this immigration invasion?
My only insight currently is that America is being prepared, and immigration will be a part of the process to move America further away from the Judeo-Christian values that make it the great country it is.
